目には見えないけどそこにあるもの。
変化し続けるもの。
曖昧な境界…。
探している確かなものは見つからないかもしれないけれど、
ただ言えることは不確かなことが確かであること。
ただそこにあること。

Things that are not visible but are there.
Things that keep changing.
Ambiguous boundaries....
You may not find the certainty you are looking for.
But what I can say is that what is uncertain is certain.
It's just there.

作家は薄墨などの塗料を画面の上に落とし、偶然に出来た飛沫の総てに細いペンで自分のイメージを埋めていく、気の遠くなるような作品を作る。
偶然と必然を一体にとらえることにより、万物に宿る見えない力の可視化を追求している。必然と偶然のバランスの追求でもある。
作家は、フォログラム塗料を定着させるべく工夫をこらし、琳派的な美を作り出している。

A female artist splashes paint, such as thin ink, on the screen from above and fills in the accidental droplets with her own image using a thin pen. It's a mind-boggling work.
She pursues the visualization of the invisible power that resides in all things by taking chance and necessity as one.  It is also a pursuit of the balance between inevitability and coincidence.
She devised a way to fix the phorogram paint to the base of the painting. The result is a beauty similar to that of the Rimpa school.
