駅のホームをネズミが走って行った
近寄って見ると黒いマスクだった
来た横須賀線に乗ると回送列車だった
手には行先不明の乗車券を持たされていた
冬の寒い風の夜だった

A rat scurried across the station platform.
I approached to see it wore a black mask.
I boarded the arriving Yokosuka Line train, only to find it was a deadhead.
In my hand, I held a ticket with an unknown destination.
It was a cold winter night with a biting wind.
